Fuzzy Nomi are strange self-reproducing insects that have the ability to bend the fabric of time if threatened. Nesting in tight spaces similar to spiders, if threatened they emit an aura where the time inside of it stands still. If someone is caught in this for being unlucky enough to find these in their property, hundreds of years can pass by in seconds while the person inside of it is totally unaware. This shift in time puts them on a different wavelength, making them invisible and undetectable by those still on the normal speed of time. To the person experiencing the leap in time, they find themselves suddenly alone in the wilderness that is in the exact spot they were when they got too close to the Nomi. If passing by fast enough, people and animals have been found suddenly fused inside of structures or trees, having their DNA fused with it and still alive.
