Shockingly fast and armored for its size, the Puppet Spider gets its name from the toxic clouds of dust it secretes from glands on its raised antennas. While the dust is very potent to smaller creatures, its causes the inhaler to go into a trance-like state where they allow the Puppet Spider to feed on its flesh uncontested. It keeps the target sedated indefinitely, most often until it starves to death. In rare cases, it has been known to hitch a ride on its entranced victim to a more secluded area.
