Constantly generating billions of spores, the plant and animal hybrid known as the Tedbit uses them to seek out and find its favorite species of plants to eat. The spores react with certain pollens to create a powerful scent that can be smelled by it over five hundred meters away. Unintentionally, the spores react negatively with others in the animal kingdom, as they have a chemical reaction with their blood once being exchanged during breathing. The chemical shuts down brain functions, and in large enough concentrations can be deadly. Being born with no sex, they self-reproduce when they feel they are ready.
