The Bolteu is a strange phenomenon that occurs once in a generation, which involves a sentient bolt of lightning that gains life, grows, and dies, all within a few seconds of time and stretches for dozens of miles across the sky. Its own perception of time is so much slower than humans, it is perceiving those two seconds as taking up as much time as a single year takes for humans.
