A subspecies of Roptera that uses a mesmerizing spinning display, the Dancing Ropera use their wings to spiral upwards to life it high in the air. Although technically flightless, it uses this technique to jump up to 7 meters and uses its wings that are as sharp as a razor blade to slice apart fruit or other creatures. Unlike the females, the male twits its wings into what almost looks like a which helps increase its jumping speed. As infants they rely mostly on a diet of fruit before their wings get sharp enough to hunt other animals.
