The second life cycle of the Hachis after molting from a Caretaker Hachi, and one of the five potential types of Hachi the molting can result in, the newborn Paladin Hachis immediately begin roaming the wilderness as the wandering colonizers of the Hachi brood. Although flightless, they seek out information given out by pheromones from Sentinel Hachis to find existing nests of other insects and brutally take over by force until the next is empty. After it has been made safe, they release hormones to let the Hachi Queen know there is a new home ready for a newborn queen to take over and expand. In full adulthood, they can grow to the size of a basketball but are born without a sex or the ability to reproduce.
