The thing I find least attractive about doing these in Microsoft Paint is that the default color scheme is less than desirable. I'd be happy to add a bunch of custom colors, but then I'd have to come up with new color palettes each time, which would make the metadata a bit more interesting, but that's just a whole other can of worms I'm not ready for yet, so I'm just stuck with the default ms paint color palette.
